We’re very excited to announce the second workshop leader at NUFF 2013. The renowned Danish scriptwriter Per Daumiller will be leading one of the workshop groups.
We have signed up our first workshop teacher for NUFF 2013. Maria Bock, Norwegian actress and film director, will be leading one of the film workshop groups at NUFF.
NUFF @ TIFF 2013 The international film workshop at TIFF 2013 has finished and the result was screened at the closing ceremony of the festival at the Kulturhuset with an audience of 630 entusiastic people. Watch the film online...
NUFF @ TIFF 2013 International film workshop To empower young filmmakers is to empower young people the right to express themselves. The best way to facilitate this is by creating forums, venues for networking and exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as to maintain a defined focus on the young talents as models and inspiration for others. In cooperation with the Tromsø International Film Festival (TIFF), the Nordic Youth Film Festival (NUFF), the Palestinian film organization SHASHAT and the twin-city project Tromsø-Gaza we have invited eight young female filmmakers (between 16-25 years) from Palestine and Northern Norway to attend the film-workshop NUFF@TIFF. Monday January 14th the eight young filmmakers embark upon an intensive workshop led by the professional filmmaker Anniken Hoel. The participants will develop a 4 minute long film based on the concept of "from the idea to the finished film." The film will then be shown at the closing night at TIFF Sunday 20th in front of a large audience. The workshop is funded by the organisation Fritt Ord, the Northern Norwegian Film Center, the twin-city foundation Tromsø-Gaza.

NUFF awards at Novemberfilmfestivalen 2012 Marte B. Aasen represented NUFF at this years Novemberfilmfestival in Trollhättan, Sweden. She announced NUFF's 3 winners: Witness No.501 av Marcus and Mattias Thernströn Florin, Ett utdrag från Dacke av Ludvig Hedlund and Den Sterkare av Olof Leth. 3 great films. They will all be screened at this years NUFF. Thank you Novemberfilmfestivalen for a great stay.
