Directors bakground

In 2008 he entered a youth film-school Station Next. This film-school was started by Zentropa and Peter Ålbæk (producer) to establish young new talents and develop them into a professional film group.
Simon directed and produced his years graduation film "Bølger af tid (Tide of time)". In 2013 it hat it’s first international screening in Croatia and won the Audience award their. Later in spring 2014 it won grand prize on “Teen international shor tfilm” festival in Istanbul, Turkey.  
In 2015 Simon was chosen as one of the young talents to be supported by the filmtalent school “Odense Filmværksted”. This included a mentor deal with Icelandic director Runar Runarsson and film masterclass on Odense international filmfestival (DK) and Gotenburg international filmfestival (SE)
In 2016 Simon directed his new shortfilm Buoyancy.
The film combines the coming of age theme and the vulnerability that the 15 year old swimmer Sara

My Gay Sister is a story about a young girls first meeting with the expectations to define her sexuality and about the ability to create, gain and lose trust for one another.
