Olha was working as a freelance editor for commercial projects but wanted to explore different avenues within the industry. This desire led her to join a Kyiv-based production company. There, she worked as a director’s and producer’s assistant on documentary projects until Russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
In response to the invasion, Olha directed a documentary short titled You Know It’s Going To Be About War which explores her personal experience of living in a country at war. Since then, Olha has been working at the Berlin-based production company NowHere Media, focusing on the distribution of an immersive 360° documentary about Ukrainian art and culture during the inva- sion of Ukraine.
