Aile and Milla are the closest that any two sisters can be and consider each other as best friends. Their serene childhood is interrupted when they overhear their parents talking about Milla’s diagnosis of childhood interstitial lung disease that leaves her with a life expectancy of 2 more years. They’re faced with death in the foreseeable future, yet cannot fully comprehend it. Their everyday life is being carefree and seemingly unbothered by the seriousness and tragedy of the situation.

In addition to the film workshops in Tromsø NUFF was cooperating with Tamer Institute in Gaza, Palestine and SEMA festival in Nairobi, Kenya. In Gaza Tamer Institute organised one workshop group which produced one film and in Nairobi SEMA had even three groups which produced four films.
We are very proud of these collaborations. It strengthens our international network which already goes back for several years of continues cooperation especially with those partners.
