Jon Gill is an award-winning filmmaker and communications designer with a passion for helping people tell their story.
As an educator he’s been building confidence in content creators and mobile filmmakers since 2011 with #MadeOnAMobile programme, delivered to organisations and individuals worldwide.
His short films have screened internationally at festivals from Seattle to Sydney; he’s a regular speaker at global events, a co-organiser of the KOOLIFILM International Film Camp in Estonia and a Brand Partner with Hollyland Technology.
Ken Are Bongo
Ken Are Bongo is a Sámi director and cinematographer. He made his feature directorial debut with "Ciao ráhkis!" and has worked as a cinematographer on one episode of the Cannes award-winning NRK series "Power Play", as well as the Netflix feature film "Stolen", both directed by Elle Márjá Eira.
Øivind Sjøvoll
Øivind Sjøvoll has been a club organiser, producer, composer and Dj since MTV still was relevant. He has scored music for a range of different movies, theatre, commercials and vignettes. He has composed music for silent movies, played international and national festivals and he has been mentoring up and coming artists for the last two decades. His main go to, is hardware and field recordings. Synths, pedals, microphones, drum-machines, percussion and gadgets that makes noise is his daily routine. Yes, there might be some hidden software gems here and there - but not a fan of AI generated music.
Liina Särkinen
Liina Särkinen is an Estonian director, producer and film educator whose films tend to find the quietly extraordinary in everyday life. Her latest documentary "My Family and Other Clowns"she co-directed with Heilika Pikkov, explores life when juggling between dreams, work and family life while being a clown. Liina has lived and worked in London where she taught in the University but also deeply explored the magic of immersive cinema. She is currently running a film school for young people that also organises an International Youth Film festival Koolifilm in Tallinn and stands for making film education accessible all over Estonia.
Jason T. Clark
Jason T. Clark is a Hollywood art director and production designer with a career spanning blockbusters and arthouse films. His impressive credits include visually groundbreaking works such as Black Panther (Marvel), Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (Paramount), Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth (A24/Apple), and most recently Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (Lucasfilm). Clark has a robust working knowledge of each facet of the filmmaking process from early concept and pre-production, to filming, post-production and visual effects. He has worked extensively around the globe from Dubai, on Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol to Budapest, on the dark Sci-fi world of Spectral. Mr. Clark has been nominated and won multiple Art Directors Guild awards for his work.
Alireza Ghasemi
Alireza Ghasemi is an Iranian filmmaker based in Paris. He studied cinema at the Art University of Tehran and later trained at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany. His short film Lunch Time competed for the Short Film Palme d’Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. In 2024, his debut feature In the Land of Brothers (co-directed with Raha Amirfazli) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the World Cinema Dramatic Directing Award. He is an alumnus of the Cannes Cinéfondation Residency (2018) and Berlinale Talents (2022).
Kaire Russ
Kaire Russ is a producer, director, writer, and fight choreographer with over a decade of experience in the film and television industry. She directed and co-wrote the acclaimed series Homme põgeneme, which won Best TV Series at the Estonian Film and Television Awards (EFTA) in 2023, where she was also credited as an executive producer.
Kaire has worked across a range of production companies as an assistant producer and has also led her own team at the commercial agency La Ecwador. In addition to her work in television, she has directed and produced several short films.
Widely recognized in Estonia for her expertise in action design, Kaire has contributed as a fight choreographer to multiple films and has staged fight sequences for major theatre productions
Ismaele Tortella
Based in Tromsø, Northern Norway, Ismaele Tortella spends most of his time filming wildlife, cold oceans, and people obsessed with protecting them. He works as a documentary director, cinematographer, and drone pilot for productions including BBC, Netflix, and National Geographic. His films have picked up awards at international festivals, usually somewhere warmer than the Arctic
Inuk Jørgensen
Inuk is an award-winning filmmaker from Greenland. He grew up in making short animations and videos and as an adult he is still committed to exploring his Inuit background in his productions. His short films have been shown at more than 200 film festivals worldwide and on every continent, including Antarctica, winning awards in as diverse countries as the U.S., Norway, Finland, India, Canada, Ukraine, Sweden, Spain, and Greenland.
Laurens Pérol
Laurens Pérol (1995, Stuttgart) is a German filmmaker based between Norway and Austria. BA-studies in ‘Moving Images’ from 'Filmkunstskolen i Kabelvåg UiT' in Lofoten, MA-studies in ‚Film Directing' at Vienna Film Academy. Often exploring the relationship between the individual and society in his films, sustainable green narratives build a backbone in his work. Laurens' shorts have screened widely, winning him the ’Skårungen/Rookie 2022” award in Northern Norway, among others.
Laurens' Tromsø-produced feature debut Å ØVE (PRACTICE) premiered at the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund 2023. It went on to win the 'Critics' Prize' at Hof International Film Festival as well as 'Best Feature Debut' at Nordic Film Days Lübeck, followed by 30+ festivals worldwide, theatrical release in several countries and upcoming TV launch. His second feature ELECTRIFIED recently got awarded the Lübeck Script Development Grant 2025.
