Johannes Vang

Johannes Vang (23) is a Kven-Sámi director from Nordreisa/Ráisa. He primarily focuses on Sámi, Kven, and Northern Norwegian films about identity and society. Last year, he won the audience award at NUFF for the Sámi film Áhčči – Han Pappa (“Áhčči – His Dad”).

Liina Särkinen

Liina is a film maker and film educator as well as the founder and director of a Kinomaja ( Cinema House) Film School in Tallinn that brings together young filmmakers age 15-20. The Film School also organises an International Youth Film Festival Koolifilm every October and a Film Camp in the Summer. Liina also teaches Visual Storytelling in universities of Estonia and literature in Secondary School. Before starting the Film School she lived in London for almost 10 years where she worked in Westminister University as well as film production and immersive film events at Secret Cinema. After returning to Estonia she has directed two documentaries and a few short films. She is actively involved in several nonprofit and educational initiatives that support young filmmakers. In September 2025 a feature length documentary called «My Family and Other Clowns» that she has co-directed with another Estonian filmmaker Heilika Pikkov, will premiere in the Cinemas in Estonia and festivals internationally.

Sondre Sandbakken

Sondre is a freelance cinematographer and focus puller from Northern Norway. He studied at Nordland College of Art and Film. He has experience filming documentary series for NRK («113», «Iskald», «Puckers», «Kortbaneliv») as well as short films, music videos and the Nordic Noir thriller «Catch and Release». As a focus puller he has worked on several big productions, both Norwegian and international. He is currently based in Tromsø.

Fredrik Mortensen

Fredrik Mortensen is an award-winning screenwriter and director from Tromsø, Norway. Working across fiction, documentary and hybrid forms for both cinema and television, his films such as «Parked» and «A Stranger Comes Home» have been screened at film festivals around the world. His storytelling explores the nuances of outsiderism and the strange, often overlooked corners of the human nature and experience. Alongside his creative work, Fredrik has over a decade of professional experience across multiple departments in film production, collaborating with a wide range of directors and teams. He is also a dedicated mentor and educator, having led multiple film workshops. Fredrik currently serves as the leader of the Northern Norwegian branch of the Norwegian Filmworkers Union. He is a lifelong cinephile and film collector. His work reflects a deep enduring passion for the medium.

Stian Andreassen

Stian is a 31-year-old filmmaker and animator from Tromsø. He has worked as a freelancer for 8 years and holds a degree from the Norwegian School of Creative Studies. He has extensive experience working on music videos, TV productions, commercials, short films, and film education for youth.
