This document explores how narrativity, interactivity and engagement are mutually reshaped within the domain of interactive films; addressing both the production and the user experience through the case study of NUFF Club, an interactive film* created by a group of talented filmmakers and developers at the Nordic Youth Film Festival 2019 in collaboration with SEEK & Garage Stories. SEEK@NUFF 2019 is a special workshop group during NUFF that presents young filmmakers with the challenge of innovating media formats – from elaborate 360 short film productions to multi-tiered interactive films.
In occasion of opening of the first permanent Film Workshop Nuuk, Tvibit and NUFF were present and met young talented filmmakers, the film industry representatives of the cultural institutions of the city of NUUK and of the municipality of Sermersooq.
The German casting director Kartin Vonderwühlbecke is known through her casting „real people“, demonstrated in one of her latest and most outstanding casting director works „Western“ by Valeska Grisebach, which premiered in Cannes Film Festival last year and won several international awards.
