NUFF Film Workshop 2024
from june 21 to 29, 2024, young filmmakers are invited to come to Tromsø, northern Norway, to make a film from idea to finished product with mentorship from renowned professionals. This is the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience on filmmaking, as well as make new friends and maybe meet future work partners!
What you get from the workshop:
Welcome day, 7 days of workshop
Accommodation at a hotel in Tromsø city center
A professional mentor that will guide you and your team throughout the week

3 meals a day, vegetarian and vegan options available
Screening of the workshop films on Friday, June 28th at the Verdensteatret cinema (the oldest still running cinema in Europe!)
Departure day from Tromsø on Saturday, June 29th.
To apply to the NUFF Workshop, you need to be:
Between 15 and 26 years old
Residing anywhere in the world
No special previous experience with filmmaking is required, but you need to have a strong interest in film and willingness to work in a team
NB! The workshops are in English. This year, we also have a Sámi-speaking group, which will be mentored by a professional Sámi filmmaker. You can choose in the application form whether you want to be in the English-speaking group, or in the Sámi-speaking group (you need to speak fluent or next-to fluent Sámi to participate).
The cost of the workshop is 150,- EUR (1500 NOK), including accommodation and meals. Please note that the flight tickets to and from Tromsø are not included in the cost of the workshop and need to be paid by the participant.
For participants living in northern Norway who are accepted to the workshop, the fee is covered by Tvibit.
