Passages and Portraits
Sunday June 22nd 18:00 - 19:15
From snowy tracks in Norway to quiet mountain life in Japan, this vibrant collection of short films captures young people navigating the world around them. Chasing dreams, facing fears, and stumbling into moments of unexpected connection.
A teenage snowcross rider races toward his goals with his whole community behind him. A girl with cerebral palsy must act fast when her mother collapses. One teen writes a letter to the friend he lost touch with. Across cultures and languages, strangers become friends over a shared meal, a broken motorcycle, or even a photo of a half-eaten kebab.
These films celebrate the messy, magical process of growing up and reaching out — and remind us that even when we feel most alone, someone might be closer than we think.
We’ll have an intro before the beginning of the screening and a Q&A after.
